Meet Sandi

Sandi loves Rabun County and all it has to offer. After spending her childhood in Atlanta, she moved here with her family when she was a teenager and quickly realized how different it was from the city - and how well that suited her. She loves spending time outdoors, exploring and enjoying our beautiful mountains and lakes. She also likes to bicycle our winding backroads, and has recently started flat water kayaking.   Sandi began her career in real estate at the office in Sky Valley, where she typed contracts and did a variety of administrative work. In 1980, she joined her father, Hal West's, real estate company, and helped him organize his office. In 1985, she earned her real estate license, but continued to work in the office, taking on a managerial position in the brokerage after her father's death in 1991. With her mother, Jackie West, Sandi managed that company until 2007, when the opportunity arose to help open Harry Norman, REALTORS® Luxury Lake and Mountain. In 2009, she took the helm as broker and is so happy to manage such a wonderful group. Sandi loves the challenge of real estate and that no two days are ever the same, as there is always something new to learn, to give, and to experience.  Sandi lives in Tiger with her husband Bill close to their two sons and their families.
